What really sticks out about their efforts is the way State Farm is able to account for its green practices. By replacing 29% of the company's fleet with fuel efficient vehicles, State Farm has reduced its fuel use by 87,000 in one year. They estimate that translates into 287 tons of greenhouse gas emissions for their efforts. One more thing we love; State Farm's Austin, TX Operations Center is powered entirely by green power.
