AAA SoCal
Although SoCal AAA opposed California Proposition 86 in 2006, it still has a couple of good things going for them. It may be to save face or it may be to really start making a difference, who knows? We do know this though; hybrid owners get a 5% discount off of their auto insurance through SCAAA. They have also partnered with BeGreen, a carbon offset company, to provide its member with 10% discounts off their offset purchases. Being that SCAAA is located in the heart of hybrid land (California has more hybrids than any other state) it seems necessary that they would offer hybrid discounts. We would love to see them take their eco-citizenship one step further and start making a real difference. Hey SoCal! Take a cue from your brothers up north in Northern California and Oregon.
