We'd all love if we could drive "clean miles." With the Drive Green program from AAA Oregon/Idaho, you can. Of all AAA insurance programs, this one is by far the best for eco-shoppers. Drive Green has a number of benefits. First and foremost, drivers who sign up for the program get 5,000 miles worth of carbon offsets purchased for them using the Bonneville Environmental Foundations Green Tag offset credits. This represents about half of the miles a normal driver will do in a year. To offset the rest of your miles, the program allows drivers to buy additional Green Tags at a discount.

Besides helping its members be better earth citizens, AAA Oregon/Idaho is greening themselves too. The organization buys Green Tags for themselves to offset the impact of the buildings and fleet.
