It seems these days that you can go green in every aspect of your life.  Well your car club is yet another way to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.  For years, Americans have proudly pulled out their AAA cards to get free maps and hotel discounts while crossing the country.  What they haven’t know though is that the AAA has a large lobby that many believe to be anti-environmental.  The Sierra Club once said that the AAA is lobbying “for more roads, more pollution and more gas guzzling.”

The good news is this.  Motorists now have an eco-friendly alternative to the AAA in Better World Club (BWC).  Headquartered in Portland, OR BWC gives drivers the same services as AAA, but the club advocates for the environment, not against it.  One percent of BWC’s annual revenues are contributed to “environmental clean-up and advocacy and by providing unique eco-friendly travel alternatives.”
